Fellows Committee

The Fellows Committee consists of five members elected for three year staggered terms by the membership of the NCFR. The committee appoints the Chair. The primary responsibilities are:
  1. To review the criteria for fellows membership status.

  2. To review applications from nominees for fellows status after the nominees eligibility has been checked by the NCFR office (member of NCFR at least five continuous years, a current member, contributions of service to NCFR, and two of three endorsements from NCFR members).

  3. During the NCFR Annual Conference, discuss and vote on which applicants will be recommended to the Board of Directors. (Note: Maximum number may not exceed 1% of the entire membership of NCFR.) Only applications unanimously approved by all five committee members may be forwarded to the Board.

  4. Prepare announcement of winners for the March issue of NCFR's Report. Refer to calendar for due date.
